Unexpected kindness on our special day

We arrived at Mill Valley Inn during a whirlwind of wedding planning. The warm atmosphere, thoughtful decor, and friendly staff helped ease our nerves. We felt truly celebrated!

While the rooms were enchanting, the lack of a lift made carrying our bags a bit of a workout. Not ideal for a relaxing start to our big day.

We loved the complimentary wine and cheese evenings! The cozy balconies were perfect for relaxing after our hikes, and the nearby park was a beautiful bonus.

Felt like it was our own home, no complaints at all.

Staying in a beautiful cottage by a creek was lovely, and the location near shops was perfect. Breakfast options were good, but could use more variety over a longer stay. The bathroom sink had a slow drain, but staff were wonderful. Keep in mind that parking can be tricky for larger vehicles.

We stayed in the Queen Room, which was beautifully decorated and felt very cozy. The bed was super comfortable, and we loved having access to the wrap-around veranda with stunning views of the surrounding redwoods. The complimentary breakfast was fantastic, with plenty of options including fresh pastries and tasty coffee.

Parking in the main lot was a bit tight.

The Inn's charming decor and easy access to common areas made me feel embraced by its warmth, while the serene ambiance wrapped me in comfort, letting me enjoy the serene view of the redwoods right from my room.

The Inn offers a great location in the heart of Mill Valley, making it easy to explore nearby cafes and restaurants. My room was spacious and well-appointed, featuring a cozy atmosphere and thoughtful amenities like a selection of DVDs. The complimentary breakfast was impressive, with a wide variety including fresh fruit, bagels, and hot dishes, though I would have appreciated slightly more variety over an extended stay.

Parking in the main lot felt a bit cramped, especially when maneuvering larger vehicles, and the lack of painted lines made it tricky to feel confident in your space. No elevator access could be an inconvenience for those with mobility issues, particularly if your room is located on the upper level. Additionally, the bed leaned towards being soft for my taste. a firmer mattress might have provided better support for a good night's sleep. Lastly, I encountered a little critter in the bathroom, which wasn't the most pleasant surprise for a stay.

Perfect getaway for couples

We were lucky enough to snag one of those cottage creek rooms right by the water and surrounded by those big redwoods on our recent stay and the cozy little patio we had was a great spot where we even saw a doe and her fawn chilling right there and the bed felt like sleeping on a cloud with beautiful decor that just made everything feel high end

We spent a relaxing night in a cozy Queen Room. The front desk staff provided great hiking tips and ensured our comfort. Don't miss the wine and cheese reception in the evening—perfect for unwinding after a day of exploring! Parking can be tight, so arrive early.

We had an awesome time relaxing in our cozy room while enjoying the evening wine and cheese spread and a fantastic breakfast spread in the morning. The only downside was that the stairs to our room were a bit tough for us, but it wasn't a dealbreaker. If you're looking for a chill spot, definitely check this place out! 🍷
